Stephen: For anyone going through this, the most important thing you can do is just get off the bed, even if it hurts a little bit. You have the IV, you have… to move, you still have the stitching. You’re still sore here. You know some of the pain medications can help and that’s great. Get up and walk. Just do whatever you can. Just get up and walk slowly, just a few steps. You know, every time you come back to your bed, you rest, and just make it a little farther. Come back to your bed and rest. And that’s going to help make the recovery so much better.
