Transcript: Sleep apnea

I got referred because of the sleep apnea. I went and did the sleep study at the hospital. And they said that in one minute I stopped breathing 114 times which was a lot. And I snored massively at night much to the chagrin of my wife and the dogs and they put me on a CPAP. After the surgery, immediately after the surgery, I was still on the CPAP but I couldn't use it because the CPAP forces air down into you and it forced it into what was left of my stomach and it caused me an awful lot of discomfort and an awful lot of pain. So they did another sleep study and it basically ended up that I didn't need it any longer.
