Transcript: Getting ready for surgery

The pre-op, the getting ready after you do your initial doctors visit. You get your cardiac clearance, blood work and then you’re waiting on a date for your surgery. Then they send you a notification of when that is and then they give you a book, that they called “the bible”, that you go through. And it tells you every step you need to take as far as your diet, your pre-op diet. Everything you need to know is in that book. So the only thing you need to do is start getting prepared by getting your vitamins, your pre-op drinks, liquids and everything…so that you’ll have it all ready before and after surgery.
